Volunteer non-profit supplying beds and other furnishing essentials to women, children and teens, escaping domestic violence, homelessness, and teens aging out of foster care.
Furnishings – Providing essential furnishings for women and children leaving shelters, and teens who have aged out of foster care, for clients referred by our agency partners, A Woman’s Place, Bucks County Housing Group, R J Leonard Foundation and Family Services Association. In their new rental homes, we supply donated furniture, linens and household items in an effort to positively impact and restore their lives.
Beds for Kids – Supplying new twin beds and bedding for our agency partner children leaving shelters and moving into rental housing. Deserving Decor also works with One House at a Time (OHAAT), a nonprofit organization who receives funding to supply twin beds and bedding for children leaving Bucks County Housing Group supportive housing and moving into rental apartments.
Beds For Families – Deserving Decor also supplies beds, when available, for mothers leaving Bucks County Housing Group supportive housing – and beds for mothers, children and fosters leaving our three other agency partners, not provided by OHAAT.
Deserving Decor is a green organization. We reuse, repurpose and refurbish furniture to provide to our clients.
Recycling furnishings prevents wood, textiles, glass, metal and other materials from going to overcrowded landfills and provides for families in need.
Clients must be referred to Deserving Decor by a Bucks County agency partner.
